Mission
Irish Ballet Forum was established in 2009 by individuals working in professional ballet around the country. It was created to aid the development of Irish ballet and to strengthen the essential infrastructure needed for a ballet dancer to progress from student to professional. g of resources and knowledge, and the complementing of existing resources would enable ballet in Ireland to reach unprecedented levels of achievement and success. As a national development agency for classical dance, Irish Ballet Forum exists to connect ballet companies, training institutions, resource organisations, teachers, students, and performers to one another. We strive to be a unified voice that advocates for classical dance. We work to be the largest national network of ballet practitioners. We are dedicated to strong and long lasting relationships with our ballet colleagues, the wider dance and arts communities, and international counterparts. Ultimately, we exist to assure classical dancers can train, create, perform, and excel without leaving the island of Ireland. Aims
