Hypocritical quote from Cllr Kay Keane regarding the situation in Citywest, and yet she had an opportunity with her party colleagues to leave Tallaght Village parking, but decided to put plants before people.
Let's tell the cancer patient and the pensioner who live in Tallaght Village that she "understands your frustration "but chooses to vote for the Part 8.
Especially with the Bus Connects mess, where now people have to get two to three buses to get to their destination

"Cllr Kay Keane said she understands the frustrations of residents and said from her perspective, the issue is that the public transport infrastructure is not good enough for people to be able to ditch their cars.
“I’m in People Before Profit, okay? I would love to see people getting out of their cars, using the bike lane, cycling. But I’m a realist as well.
“I know people, some people do need their cars, for example, if they have mobility issues, if they have a child with special needs, they need a car to get from A to B.
“At this stage, something needs to be done,” she said."

Despite mounting national scrutiny on poor transport connectivity in new housing developments, the government has taken no action.

We dont know who this author or cyclist is but they are still peddling with that the residents and businesses and that this page spread misinformation about the part 8 Tallaght Village Enhancement Scheme . This post was liked by Paul Murphy TD and Cllr Jess Spear so maybe they had some input into the piece.

The National Transport Authority (NTA) supports the amended plan for the Tallaght Village Enhancement Scheme, it was confirmed at a council meeting last week, and NTA officials have confirmed this.…

No Cllr. Adam Smyth - Tallaght, we don't trust you, as you didn't listen to us.
Cllr Jess Spear Cllr Niamh Whelan Sinn Féin - you were both ok with the crossings until it was pointed out to you that they were not fit for purpose. Isn't that why you included them in your amendment?

Thanks for letting us know that the Part 8 had lots of public engagement and that the voters got in touch with you all, but you didn't listen.

Local Councillors at the meeting on Monday commended the residents of Greenhills for a good campaign to protest against the Astro Turf going into their park.

The same Councillors accuse us of misleading information.
What misleading information?

This is what the design proposed.

Our Elected Representatives, using false allegations against us of using misleading information, were they intended to distract us from their voting against 2500 of their constituents' wishes?

This is the amendment that Cllr Jess Spear Cllr. Adam Smyth - Tallaght Cllr Louise Dunne-Sinn Féin-Tallaght South Cllr Niamh Whelan Sinn Féin Cllr Kay Keane Cllr Mick Duff put into the part 8 today.
They put in the words "where possible," giving the council a get-out clause. Their spin is as bad as the CEO of SDCC.
They accused this page of spreading misinformation regarding Part 8. We will stand over everything that was posted on this page.
No fake news on this page.
We will continue to call them out and hold them to account, and we won't hold our breath on being asked anything during the detailed design process.
They ignored 1700 local people who signed the petitions. Remember that when you meet them or when they come calling, looking for your vote.
