🚨 ATTENTION ALL UK INDEPENDENT CREATORS, FILMMAKERS, VLOGGERS, PODCASTERS, AND VIEWERS 🚨
This is not a drill, and this isn't just about my channel. Every single independent digital platform, creator, and alternative voice in the United Kingdom is officially on the line. The entire landscape of the internet as we know it is under direct threat of a state-controlled takeover.
If you open up your YouTube Studio app right now, you will see an urgent notification warning you about a massive threat. The UK Government has launched a sweeping new media consultation titled "Watch this space: a new strategic direction for UK media." YouTube is sounding the alarm, and every single one of us needs to wake up to what is happening behind the scenes.
The current Labour government is the one driving this entire mandate. Operating through the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), Labour ministers are pushing this aggressive policy to fundamentally alter how digital media operates across the UK.
Under the typical guise of "tackling misinformation," "ensuring trust," and "protecting public service media," they are proposing a mandatory, legally binding "prominence regime." Let’s strip away the corporate political speak and call this exactly what it is: a state-mandated monopoly designed to choke out independent voices, completely destroy organic discovery, and strip away your democratic right to choose what you watch.
Propping Up The Collapsing BBC
The true desperation behind this mandate is simple: The BBC and mainstream media are in a massive, irreversible decline. The public has completely rejected their biased narratives, and their licence fee and advertising revenues are collapsing because nobody wants to watch them anymore. The government's own data admits that nearly 74% of young adults aged 16 to 24 have completely abandoned traditional TV for independent video-sharing and streaming platforms. Because these corporate dinosaurs cannot compete on their own merit in a free market, the Labour government is stepping in to artificially bail them out. They want to legally rig the system to prop up a failing establishment by forcing it directly into your face.
Forced State Media In Your Face
If this mandate passes, global digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram will be legally forced to artificially rig and reprogram their recommendation algorithms. They want to force-feed the public, legally forcing legacy, mainstream corporate networks like the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 right into your face at the absolute top of your feeds, homepages, and search results. It will no longer matter what you actually want to watch, what you type into the search bar, or what your genuine preferences are. The state is stepping in to decide what is "good for you," turning your personalized feed into an echo chamber for mainstream media.
Controlling the Narrative on Mass Illegal Immigration
Make no mistake—this is also 100% about controlling the narrative on massive public interest issues, specifically mass illegal immigration.
Independent creators, alternative digital journalists, and citizen commentators are currently the only ones on the ground exposing the full reality, data, and social consequences of what is happening across the country. Because the corporate mainstream media routinely sanitizes, downplays, misreports, or outright ignores these critical issues to suit a specific political agenda, the state wants a permanent mechanism to quietly downrank, shadowban, and bury independent coverage out of sight. By legally forcing platforms to only promote government-defined "trusted news" networks under Chapter 2.2, they are attempting to strip away your fundamental right to access alternative perspectives, free speech, and independent reporting.
Total Suppression Across EVERY Single Niche
Think your channel is safe because you don’t cover politics? Think again. This mandate blankets all genres and niches—including general entertainment, documentaries, comedy, drama, and sports.
* Paranormal & Documentary Channels: Dedicated, long-form investigative content like mine will be completely buried. Mainstream TV networks consistently refuse to produce or fund raw, unfiltered paranormal documentaries because it doesn't fit their corporate mold. They will take your viewer impressions while offering zero alternative content.
* Mechanic & Automotive Channels: If you run a channel teaching people how to fix their own cars, diagnose suspension issues, or do upgrades, your organic reach will plummet. Instead of your helpful tutorial showing up first, a BBC or ITV entertainment clip will be pushed ahead of you.

This completely kills the concept of a fair, merit-based creator economy. It destroys your views, your reach, your subscriber growth, and your livelihood. It is economic and creative central planning.
WE NEED TO FIGHT BACK NOW
This proposal is currently a Green Paper, which means the government is legally required to accept and review public feedback before they can draft a formal Bill and try to turn this into law. The absolute, non-negotiable deadline for responses is 31 August 2026.
We have a narrow window to throw a massive wrench in their plans. If you are a creator, go into your YouTube Studio, click the link on the notification card, and fill out the official UK Gov Response Form. If you are a viewer who is absolutely sick of mainstream bias and state control, look up the form directly online.
When filling it out, target these two critical sections:
* Chapter 4.1 (Question 24): Object to state-mandated prominence and state exactly how these interventions will disrupt independent business models, kill organic growth, and penalize niche audiences.
* Chapter 2.2: Reject state-defined "trusted news" providers and fight for the preservation of alternative journalism, citizen reporting, and free public debate on social media.
Don't let them force-feed the public a corrupt media establishment that the people have already rejected. Protect your channel, protect your choice, and protect our remaining democracy.

We stand with Jason Hawes/TAPS and his bid to get The Conjuring House. He is the only person who would treat it with respect.

Did he? Because from what I saw, he bought the Warrens not haunted house (not being a dick the warrens kept the house safe with priests etc if you beleive their absolute nonsense) and leased the items stored in the adjoining shed, ahem, sorry, OCCULT MUSEUM! Nah its a shed full of tat that some old folk once claimed held dangerous demonic entities and spirits and that absolutely ridiculous doll. People who touch it and disrespect it die........except people have touched it and are still doing very well for themselves. Zak Bagans take a bow, you accidently debunked that cloth sack of crap and dust.
Its strange that all these shady shenanigans are happening from Summit and Stone llc and Haunted Houses llc, both under the name of Elton Castee who is of course in partnership with Matt Rife, who have been trying to (in my opinion) steal the trademark for the name "the conjuring house". Ill be covering all this in far more detail on the main channel.
But here is my breakdown of what i have read, and timeliness.
The 2 above mentioned LLCs (much like a limited company in the uk) have tried to claim the copyright for the name "the Conjuring House" while not actually owning the conjuring house. They in fact own the warrens home, not The Old Arnold Estate. They bought the debt for the Old Arnold Estate that was nicknamed then called the conjuring house......after the movie released. The conjuring released in 2013, Corey and Jen owned the property and name it after the movie. 2022 Jaquiline Nunez bought the property and kept the name, The Conjuring House and the website and domains for "the Conjuring House"
October 2025 there was meant to be an auction for the conjuring house. In the build up to this Andrea Perron did a video pleading with Jason Hawes/TAPS and the community to try and buy the home to stop it falling into the hands of....my words not theirs, money grabbers that would turn it into a zoo. Jason and the community started a go fund me that has been monumental. You want paraunity check that out. Even I someone that doesnt belive the stories donated.
Then the auction was cancelled because someone bought the debt, not the home. Long story short everyone accused castee, castle maintained he had done no such thing... ..only for him to have (in my opinion) blatantly lied to the paranormal community because he had indeed bought the debt. More shenanigans, trespass, installing cctv they had no right to, involving the current owners family that had no place in this just to stall the save the conjuring house movement (the jason hawes go fund me). There was apparently a youtuber that is friends with Elton trying to back hand 4 million to current owner. It was declined.
Then when courts started to side with Hawes suddenly a website pops up. That website is a clone of Jaquiline Nunez site (which was taken down) the same copyright protected images, the same tabs. Its not similar its a direct clone. It traces back to haunted houses llc. They dont own the house yet they own a website for it (they even cloned the booking page and nunez details lmao). They are attempting to copyright the name for a house they don't own. Rendering the go fund useless, the save the conjuring house merch useless, any future conjuring house websites useless. All while not owning the house and stone walling the final sale to Hawes.
Now a video pops up by Theo Von a well known comedian with matt rife saying matt rife bought the conjuring house........
The whole thing absolutely stinks. And this is all my opinion, it stinks of rich kids that were never told no not being able to accept the overwhelming majority of the paranormal community wanted Hawes to own the house. The tantrums and outbursts at anyone team Hawes from the comedian and fake ghost hunters side have been vile.
Why do I care? Well Jason is a personal friend, not a content friend. That friend is trying to fulfil the wish of a dying woman. Forget the movies forget the ghosts forget the demons forget the warrens. A woman that grew up in that home, that in her mind experienced a haunting, has been given a terminal diagnosis and asked for help. That has been stonewalled from that moment by a fake ghost hunter and a comedian.

It also is worth bearing in mind that Hawes said if he was to get the house, it would remain affordable to paranormal enthusiasts and a proper scientific research center into the property and grounds was on the cards. That debunkers and the centre for enquirey would be welcome.

All this underhanded cloak and dagger nonsense has changed my opinion of Castees from, meh somewhat funny harmless fake ghost hunter that I rarely covered because it was obvious, to, what a nasty horrible little man.

Until now ive remained relatively quiet about the whole saga as it was a lot of he said she said. A lot of tenuous links. But those 2 LLC's and constant stone walling. Its a paper trail, its receipts, its a history of just sh*tty behaviour. So there is a long form deep dive into all of this, documents that as a UK resident are difficult to access are now in the public domain and you know i love me some receipts.

I hope the judges see this for what I see it as. And I hope the federal laws that are being bent are enficed properly.
