We’re so excited to share that GOAL NextGen is once again teaming up with 2026! 💚🐍

We’ll be bringing an amazing line‑up of creative collaborations to the iconic Bandstand in St. Stephen’s Green. Join us on Saturday, March 14th, from 11am–5pm — free and open to all! 🎉✨ 

👉 for the days full line up. 

This year’s festival theme, ‘Roots’, celebrates Ireland’s living heritage — the people, places and stories that connect us across borders. We can’t wait to honour our global and interconnected community through art, creativity and culture 🌍💚 

📍 Come find us at the Bandstand in St. Stephen’s Green! 
The GOAL NextGen team will be there all day - ready to chat, connect, and talk all things GOAL NextGen. Expect creativity, performances, and plenty of opportunities to get involved.

This month, GOAL welcomed three incredible changemakers from our international youth programme to Dublin for a week of cultural exchange and an inside look at GOAL’s work at HQ.

Meet our inspiring participants:

🌱 (Uganda)– Social entrepreneur and founder of ECOBED Biotech, an award-winning climate-smart enterprise turning food waste into mosquito-repellent lotion.

⚡ (Ethiopia)– Electromechanical engineer and innovation advocate, empowering youth through STEM education and creative problem-solving.

🎨 (Honduras)– Graphic designer using the power of design to amplify voices and connect communities across cultures.

Celebrating Stories for Humanity 🎤

On November 26th, GOAL NextGen brought ‘Stories for Humanity’ to Hen’s Teeth, Dublin, to celebrate the power of storytelling and human connection. 💭

This special event marked the launch of two inspiring projects created by GOAL this year: Cards for Humanity & Letters to the Future.

From Dublin to Uganda to Honduras, voices united to share honest, personal stories that spark empathy and remind us of our shared humanity. 💚

Letters to the Future is a powerful new project created by this year’s NextGen Youth Programme, and it’s launching soon!

Inspired by the experiences of our young activists, these letters capture hopes, dreams, and a bold call to action for a better tomorrow.

GOAL NextGen is thrilled to present ‘Stories for Humanity’, an evening of connection across borders as we officially launch our Cards for Humanity tool and unveil an exciting new initiative from the 2025 NextGen Youth Programme, ‘Letters to the Future.’ 💌

Join us as we celebrate the stories that unite and inspire us, reminding us of the shared experiences that shape who we are. Expect powerful voices from around the world sharing personal stories that spark hope and connection.

The group explored GOAL programmes across the region, experiencing firsthand the impact of initiatives ranging from nutrition and clean water to capacity building and empowerment.

One participant shared:
