I’ve been getting calls and messages asking why I haven’t reacted to what VDM said.

First, let me make something clear: Yes, Verydarkblackman is one of my mentor and inspirator on this media space;I have never denied that. However, being someone’s mentee doesn’t mean I must agree with everything they say or do. We are all entitled to our individual opinions. The fact that I may disagree with him on certain issues doesn’t mean he has stopped being my mentor. He is an adult with his own mind, just as I am an adult with mine. We can have different opinions without disrespecting or discrediting each other..

On the issue of prayer, I agree with the main point: prayer should never replace action. We cannot continuously pray for change while refusing to work, create, innovate, and do our part.

God can give us wisdom, opportunities
and direction, but we must take action. No country develops through prayer alone. Development requires people who are willing to work, produce, invent, build, and take responsibility.

My position is simple: PRAY, BUT WORK. HAVE FAITH, BUT TAKE ACTION. Prayer without action will not build the society we are praying for.

We cannot pray our way out of problems we are unwilling to work to solve.
