Africa Centre Ireland

Africa Centre Ireland Africa Centre Ireland is a voluntary organisation based in Dublin. Membership to the organisation is always welcome from groups and individuals.

Africa Centre was founded in the year 2000 by a group of activists from the African diaspora community who wanted the community to have a voice and promote their active participation in Ireland and inform development policy in Ireland, Europe and Africa. It is a membership organisation working in three main areas: Community Participation for the African Community in Ireland; Advocacy and Campaign

to address the need for an effective ‘Multiple African Perspectives’ in Development Education (DE) on the Island of Ireland; Policy and Research to influence policy decisions in Ireland and through its Africa Programme to inform development policy and practice in African countries. Based in Dublin and has an office on Abbey Street Lower, the centre operates an open door policy; feel free to drop in if you want to know more about our activities.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to , our new friends Catherine and Omero, all the amazing performers who shared their talent and energy, and every single person who attended and contributed to this special event in honor of Yves Sakila.
