Another Barn Owl box installation. This one was in the Rush area. The local resident had bought the box and we helped with the install. Now fingers crossed for some owls taking up residence.

Last three swifts boxes of the year in place. These boxes are adjacent to a building that already has nesting swifts every year. The hope is that we can build a larger colony in the Garristown area. Each box has three nests. In total we have 21 extra nests in Garristown and the immediate surrounding areas. Thanks very much to The Heritage Council for the grant which enabled this work. Across Fingal we know of at least 50 extra nests installed ( including ours) this year. These are all carried out by voluntary groups which is fantastic to see.
