A young lady Aoife Kelly contacted me a couple of weeks back to say she wanted to do something for the homless. She worked tirelessly making Christmas decorations to sell and we meet last week where she gave a donation to Friends of the Homeless . This donation will allow us to ensure that we can provide essential items including sleeping bags, tents. Toiletries and most importantly a hot meal for our friends during the month of January and beyond. Aoife is going to come and visit us at the table in January to see the work we do.

Thank you Aoife you have made such a change to so many people. Have a great Christmas

As Christmas approaches we are asking if anyone is able to do a care box for a person in need. Male or female all greatly appreciated. These can include anything you wish from underwear, socks, toiletries, first aid items e.g.plasters, disinfectant, goodies. If you are able to do a box please contact the page and we can arrange collection

As always all donations of food or winter clothes are greatly appreciated.

On behalf of our team Friends of the Homeless, we would like to express our condolences to all of Gavs Gavin Flanagan family and friends. Gav has been with our team nearly 10 years and was a true gentleman. He always had a huge smile and went out of his way to help others. He will be truly missed by all 😪💔

And in the blink of an eye... Its Christmas time again.. 🤶 🎄🎅
What a year this has been but we are all working through it together.

Friends of the Homeless will have our annual Christmas dinner tomorrow night Dec 18th
The team is working super hard to prepare an amazing offering of a full Christmas dinner with all the nice trimmings. We will also have a vegetarian option too ❤️🍲

There will also be lovely after dinner goodies, singers and a barber 🤗🤩

We would like to thank you all for all your help and support through the year. You have shown that we always look out for each other in difficult times and will continue to do so. 🤗
