Queues tonight on the streets of Dublin 💔🇮🇪

We had only arrived and the Q formed in minutes , so many people barely surviving so many people hanging on by a thread , desperate for safe accommodation and resorting to tents and sleeping bags knowing they won't get safe accommodation 💔

We cannot keep up with the demand anymore ,we used to be out for hours but now we last about 1 hour max !!!

Can you help us help others

We are constantly begging we know that , as volunteers we really on the public support ❤️

We cannot begin to tell you how busy we have become lately !! Some Friday night's we have 6 trolleys packed to the top tied with bungy ropes to pack as much in as we can and we are cleared out in 40 mins ❤️

The homeless crisis is out of control and it's going to get worse , we are genuinely worried 💔

Please don't come onto this post abusing us for helping people lately the abuse is out of control on our page , we try and help everyone on the streets redirect that anger to our government who have created the chaos in our country with homelessness and with immigration ,they know exactly what they are doing Conquering and dividing us all 💔🇮🇪

One of our lads was beaten up in his tent the other night, it was mistaken identity 💔

He said " All I felt was a boot in my back and then something like a pole raining down on top of me and my girlfriend, I jumped to protect her

I was petrified and thought is this how I die , I was screaming for them to stop ,they eventually did and when I got out of the tent they realised I wasn't who they were looking for

they started apologising to us , but I was bleeding and hurt I couldn't take it in what had happened, our tent was destroyed, we packed up our belongings and ran to find a safer spot to put a new tent you gave us tonight , i just wish there
Was safer couple beds available because this life is dangerous and exhausting "

We don't have enough sade couples beds and haven't had since 2015 !!! Its ridiculous that just because you want to stay with your partner for safety you have less of a chance at getting a room and have to take a tent to be able to stay together💔

Our system is so broken 💔🇮🇪💔

He asked me to take these pictures and share them so people can see how unsafe our Streets are and how vulnerable homeless people are 💔

Thanks to everyone who donated to our pals , it enables us to be able to replace tents or sleeping bags or clothes and keep people alive on the streets of Dublin because there isn't enough safe accommodation available 💔

Our fabulous Virginia Nitz has completed the Women's Mini marathon today and will do the Fingal one in July ❤️

She is an amazing volunteer that can never do enough for our homeless pals ,she has lost over 3 stone recently, which makes her picking a Marathon even more special ❤️

A young homeless women left without a bed on the streets of Dublin tonight 💔🇮🇪

There was no beds available and she was in a state at the thoughts of sleeping in the street in just a sleeping bag 💔

This is why we provide the service we do for our pals , and why people rely on us so much ❤️

Imagine how scared you would be having to get into a doorway on your own , not that a tent is much safer but it provides some sort of shelter and protection from predators on the streets ❤️

Huge happy 50th to our Ashley ❤️❤️❤️

My day one , Ash has been with A lending hand since the beginning ❤️

I would be absolutely lost without her over the last 14 years , Ash helps anyone and everyone who is in need ♥️

Your an amazing friend , volunteer , Mammy , partner and Auntie and anyone who is lucky enough to know you , knows how big and kind your heart is ♥️

We all love you and our pals on the streets love you too ♥️

Burned in his tent as he slept 💔🇮🇪

One of our lads told us tonight he was sleeping in his tent when a man came along and set his tent on fire with him in it !!!!

He has severe 3rd degree burns and is only out of hospital, a passer by saw him on fire and dragged him out, put him out and called emergency services

We tried to link him in with services and to avail of a bed but he does not feel safe in the hostels and even though he was burned in his sleep he still wanted to risk his life in another tent instead of the hostels available , this should tell you enough about the services that a human that was nearly burned to death in a tent still chooses a tent over the accommodation on offer 💔💔

We would not be able to help our pals on the streets the way we do without you amazing people who follow our page and donate

He was absolutely thrilled when he knew he had a replacement tent for the night , he's gonna share with a pal and they will take turns sleeping to stay safe ❤️

Our country is so broken and failing people 💔💙🇮🇪

Our system is so broken 💔

Today we received a call from a couple who have been renting for 11 years and have experienced homelessness before and the landlord gave them notice he was selling up in January, they are on a housing list 11 years !!!

They got in contact with the council straight away to inform them about what was happening, the council assured them they would not be made homeless and they would be housed

Fast forward to today , they got in contact with us for a tent , they have been sleeping in a park with their two dogs (fur babies ) as they got booked into a hostel that allows pets but no bus would let them on with the 2 dogs , very small dogs and they didn't know what to do

I went and picked them and their dogs up and dropped them into the hostel as that's hopefully safer than a tent for all of them , we will continue to work with this couple in trying to secure permanent accommodation

This is why people are so angry in Ireland right now , we have people on lists years been overlooked for people who have contributed nothing to our country, its not about race or right wing it's about fairness across the board and that is all people want 💔🇮🇪❤️

We will be at the top of Grafton Street tonight from 9.30pm if you see anyone in need send them our way ❤️
