The only picture we got last night because it was so busy 💔🇮🇪

This chap was so tired he pitched his tent right beside us because he needed a sleep and his last tent was taken away by Dcc with all his belongings inside 💔

We get that tents don't make the city look pretty but if there was suitable accommodation for everyone?? People would not need to resort to a tent !!!

Its not rocket science, the accommodation on offer is not safe or suitable and if it was we wouldn't have people needing tents 💔

We got cleared out in 30 minutes, we cannot keep up with the demand every week , so many people rely on us now weekly 💔

Thanks to everyone who supports our pals on the streets , as volunteers we rely on it and its the only way we can continue to do the work we do ❤️

Rip Andrew 💔💔💔

I cannot believe I'm writing this about you , you were one of the nicest, funniest characters I've had the pleasure of knowing, always checked in at the end of our Outreach on a Friday night to see how we were and for us to see how he was 💔

Always had a new way to try and tackle the system to make it better for everyone !!

He always had a story for us and was always in good form !!! He was never a bother to anyone, his partner will be waiting on him with open arms in heaven, he lost him in a freak accident 2 or 3 years ago and never got over it 💔💔

Rest in peace pal , we will miss you so much , our condolences to your friends and family at this really sad time , we love you pal and miss you already 💙

After last night we have € 10 euro in our butchers account 💔💔

We ran out of food in 40 minutes and still had people coming looking for more 💔

We have been around now for 14 years and we still cannot keep up with the demand every week 💔

Last night one of our ladies came to us looking for a tent , due to abuse she had no choice but to leave her accommodation, she did not feel safe being placed in hostel so she opted for a tent , imagine leaving an abusive situation and having no where to go to feel safe , the shelters are full and always are on weekends as I've tried to access them before on weekends, hostels are a nightmare if you need peace, and if you are any way vulnerable you will be prayed upon 💔

She said" I just feel like I need to be on my own for a few days to gather my thoughts, the thoughts of sharing a room with strangers terrifies me and i would feel triggered by every noise in the place , after everything I've been thru i want to be alone to figure out what my next move will be " 💔

When we can't safeguard women escaping domestic violence, we are failing as a society 💔

As someone who has been through this , it breaks my heart to see vulnerable women being left to fend for themselves after being put thru hell and back 💔

We will continue to link in with her and try and find the right supports for her to get back on her feet and be independent again ❤️

She is a chef by trade and looking for work if anyone is in a position to hire her , please send us a message ❤️

We know we are always begging for donations, as volunteers its the only way we can support the people we help ❤️

Dinner ready for tonight's outreach in Dublin city centre ❤️💙❤️

Ham , turkey, mash , stuffing, carrots and gravy on the menu , with sandwiches, drinks , sweets , chocolate and crisps ❤️

We have new sleeping bags and tents ❤️

Clothes , jackets , underwear and socks ❤️

We will be at the top of Grafton Street from 9.30pm

Tonight on the streets of Dublin helping our homeless pals ❤️💙

People always ask us after 14 years are things any better and we always reply absolutely not !!

It's on a ridiculous scale now !! We had 4 full trolleys tonight with sleeping bags , tents , clothes, runners, underwear, socks , toiletries, homemade spag bol , sandwiches, treats, crisps, water and fizzy drinks , we had nothing left by ten past 10 and we start at 9.30pm !!!

We have had a busy week one of our lads relapsed back into alcohol , we spent 2 weeks helping him , supporting him and linking him back in with the right supports and services, he was told he will have to wait for 6 weeks until a place becomes available for him in treatment!! 6 weeks !!

He managed to stay sober for 2 days believing he would get the help he needs but no it will be in 6 weeks !! He is determined to stay sober but with no services available to him is it any wonder we have the problems in homelessness that we do !

We will continue to support him in staying sober for the next 6 weeks

We had another local lad that was in prison , he managed to get himself off methadone in prison he was looking forward to his new start when he got out , he was released with no accommodation, no wrap around supports and he ended up relapsing back onto crack as he couldn't cope sleeping in a sleeping bag in a field, we will work with him to link him in with the right services that can support him properly in his recovery , for now have supplied him with a new tent , sleeping bags , clothes, food and toiletries 💙

We had a local elderly man who had a bleed on his brain, he was admitted to hospital in the nick of time and he is ok , he spent many years homeless in Dublin , doesn't have much family left , we supported him with fresh food from our butchers and delivered it to his door so he didn't have to go himself , we Will continue to work with him until he is fully recovered 💙

This is just some of the work we do behind the scenes when we are not on the streets, we try to help everyone we can and we could not do it without your amazing support so thank you all so much , without we would simply not be able to provide the service we do ❤️

Tonight on the streets of Dublin

We had 4 full double trolleys and we were cleared out in 30 minutes 💔💔

So many people in need of sleeping bags and tents , with the good weather more and more people are taking their chances on the streets and away from hostels, feeling safer in tents than hostels ❤️

Thanks to everyone who supports us here as volunteers we really rely on the support

Tonight we had an elderly man seeking a tent as he did not feel safe in hostel accommodation, to see an elderly man being so neglected by the state is absolutely disgusting 💔

To be made feel like you are not even worth basic care and to be made feel worthless at his age was sole destroying to see the look of worry and stress on his face was so sad to see , one of our younger lads offered to stay with him to keep him safe , a prime example of how our homeless community look out for each other ❤️

Our accounts are so low again !!

We will be back on the streets tonight, we have new sleeping bags , tents , shorts and t shirts , clothes, socks , underwear, sunscreen, drinks , sandwiches,treats and homemade pasta bake for our pals , but for next week we have 100 euro in the account and that's not near enough money to keep us going ❤️

We have 46,000 followers and if everyone gave a euro we would not have to ask anyone for a long time so please if you are in a position to donate to help our homeless pals and people who are on a poverty line our account details are

Absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Valerie or Val as everyone knew her by 💔💔

Val was always so good to our homeless pals , she stocked the goodies in our Christmas party shop , she was always doing collections for us , and always buying supplies like sleeping bags and socks for our pals ❤️

You were always so kind to our pals , we will never forget that , our condolences to Anto your husband and all your friends and family at this very sad time 💔
