Artane Tidy Group 👇

We meet every 2nd Saturday on the green area opposite Artane Castle at 11am for 1 hour litterpick.

Your help is needed now more than ever as June is the month that Tidy Towns judging happens. Artane Tidy Group entered Artane into the competition again this year and although we only cover the main roads in Artane, the judges do go into estates and we are judged as a whole.

If you can spare some time, please come along tomorrow at 11am.

So this happened in Rockfield Park today ❤️

The intention was to create another opportunity to bring the community into our green spaces to benefit their health and wellbeing.

Today musicians were invited to bring their instrument and see what happens.

We got to witness, openness, variety of music, kindness, diversity, inclusion, intergenerational, sunshine, nature and community.

Will we do it again? Absolutely, it was magical afternoon ✨️

Thanks so much to everyone who played today and to everyone who came along to simply enjoy the atmosphere and connect.

So tomorrow's weather looks promising!
This initiative is organised by Rockfield Wellness and the aim is to create a space in our local park for anyone who plays an instrument to come along and just see what happens. Bring a chair/blanket and whatever instrument you play.

This is not a performance but park users are more than welcome to come along and enjoy whatever sounds end up filling the air.

***Cancelled *** grass is too wet! Michael has kindly offered to attempt it again his Thursday at 7pm, straight after Tai chi (fingers crossed it doesn't rain)
Just pay as you go and typically we will be aiming for Tuesday at 6.15pm, and Thursday as a back up day. Thanks for understanding.

Rockfield Wellness is trying something new and we have no idea how it will go!

If anyone plays any type of instrument, please come along on Sunday 14th June and join in with other musicians (all levels welcome).

Park users are welcome to come along too but please note, this is not a performance......but you might witness magic happening when musicians get together 😉
