Remember this 👇? Well, we've come a long way! We're delighted to announce that Corpus Christi Hall will be opening up to 2 Autism classes on 14th October next. A very big welcome to the new pupils and parents of Corpus Christi NS. It's been a long wait but it's wonderful to see such a huge investment from the Department of Education in reconfiguring the Hall for the new classrooms. In accordance with the conditions of Planning the Hall will be open to the community within 1 month of the Autism classes starting up. We're buzzing at the thought of activities for the young and young at heart commencing again after such a long pause. With thanks as always to you the community who supported the campaign and also to our reps who were unwavering in their efforts to move the needle on this Marie Sherlock TD, Mary Fitzpatrick and Green Party Ireland Thanks also to Paschal Donohoe for the coffee meet ups! And very well done to Corpus Christi NS Board of Management for seeing the project through. 🥳

🚨 Hall Update!!! 🚨
DCC have requested further info in relation to the Corpus Christi BoM application for the reconfiguration works to the Hall asking the BoM to consider the application in the context of the DCC objective to protect and retain the Hall for community usage. This objective came about following our campaign’s petition to have the hall rezoned to community infrastructure in 2022 (811 signatures thank you very much!) big thanks to Declan Meenagh who led out on the objective and all the DCC reps who supported. We very much look forward to the Hall being restored to the children of Corpus Christi National School and the wider Drumcondra community after school hours. Stay tuned for further updates. 🙂

🚨 Hall Planning Application Update!! 🚨 🚨, Dublin City Council have requested further info 👇 from Corpus Christi NS BOM on aspects of the planning application for reconfiguration works to Corpus Christi Parish Hall, the first being to ‘review the proposed development in the context of the Objective of DCC to protect and retain the hall as an important and necessary community amenity in Drumcondra’.

This shows the importance of our rezoning petition to have the hall rezoned to Community and Social infrastructure in 2022 which led to the objective protecting the hall for community usage. Huge thanks to Declan Meenagh for leading on this objective and to all the DCC reps who supported it.
We very look forward to our Hall being rightfully restored to the children of Corpus Christi National School and the wider Drumcondra community. Please continue to follow us for updates!!!
