We would like to thank everyone that took part in our very successful St Patrick’s day parade & thanks also to everyone who came to watch and support it despite the weather . Thanks also to Watson’s shop & O Brien’s bar for running raffles and to anyone that helped out in making it a successful event .
It was great to see a crowd in our village for the day!
A donation from this event has been given to Duagh Graveyard Committee , Duagh Tidy Towns Committee , Duagh Sports Complex & Duagh National School Parents Council Committee.

We would like to thank everyone who helped out in any way in organising our annual St Patrick’s Day parade 2026 and everyone that participated in the parade also . It was great to see such great crowds and colour gathered in the village . We will be uploading photos and videos shortly and thanks to Doreen , Aisling , and Meadow for taking the photos , to our character costume wearers a big thank you also. And last but not least our St Patrick who looked very fetching in his costume.

We will raffle this large drinks hamper on St. Patrick’s Day. You can purchase a strip of tickets for €5 in the bar. All proceeds will go to Duagh Development Association to help with the costs involved in organising the St. Patrick’s Day Parade which is starting at 12.30.

We are delighted to announce that our annual St Patrick’s day parade will take place on Tuesday 17th March at 12.30pm. Come along and support the local clubs and businesses. Feel free to dress up and bring Irish flags etc.

All businesses or clubs that are partaking in the parade are asked to please meet in The Duagh Sports Complex car park for registration at 12 noon as we do want to start the parade on time.

Vintage cars and tractors welcome to take partake also .

Supporters are welcome to come along and support our parade and it would be wonderful if supporters dressed up in green to brighten up our village. Musicians and Irish dancers would also be very welcome to join in the festivities.
