The three wise men of the Drumlish Ballinamuck Men’s Shed made the journey down to the beautiful Slieve Russell Hotel Cavan recently for the 5th Annual Sheds for Life Awards, hosted by the Irish Men's Sheds Association ! 🚗💨

We had a fantastic morning celebrating the incredible impact the Sheds for Life initiative has on men's health and well-being across the country. It was an honor to represent our local community among so many inspiring sheds.

Congratulations to all award winners 🏆

A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who makes this vital programme possible:

🌟 THE LADS FLEW THE NEST! 🌟

The fame officially became too much to handle! After their show-stopping performance as the Spice Girls at Quinn's for the Gaels United 25th Anniversary over the May Bank Holiday, the paparazzi just wouldn't leave the Shed alone. 🎤👗
To escape the screaming fans and autograph hunters, some of the lads were packed off to Ennis on May 19th for some well-deserved R&R. 🤫

They spent a few days lying low, enjoying a quiet pint, and recovering from their brief stint as global pop icons. Huge thanks again to everyone who supported the Gaels United milestone, what a night it was!

The superstars are now back in the Shed and grounded... at least until the next reunion tour. 🛠️🍻

📍 SPICE GIRLS TOUR UPDATE: THE DUBLIN DETOUR 📍

While half the band were hiding out in Clare, the remaining members of our world-famous Spice Girls tribute act couldn't even make it to Ennis because of the massive hoards of fans blocking the roads! 😱

To escape the madness, management diverted them to the capital for a top-secret cultural excursion to Croke Park.

As you can see from the photos, the lads soaked up some GAA history in the museum before conquering the grueling 100 steps up and 100 steps back down to take on the breathtaking Skyline tour! 🏟️🚶‍♂️

They also got a lesson on pitch maintenance, where the management finally taught them a thing or two about cutting the grass as opposed to smoking it! 🏟️✂️

The entire high-altitude operation was kept under the very strict, watchful eyes of the Drumlish Ballinamuck Men's Shed Spice Girls Tribute unofficial management team or DBMSSGTUMT for short, ensuring no pop-star diva behavior on the roof.

Fair play to the lads for surviving the altitude and the fans! 👏❤️
