🚨 Community Notice – Stolen Water Pump on Bawn Road 🚨

We are very saddened to report that the iconic water pump on the Bawn Road was stolen in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
This pump has been a valued part of our community for many years and was used daily by locals to collect fresh spring water.
Its loss is very disappointing and has affected many people who relied on it.
If anyone saw any suspicious activity in the area late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, or has any information that may help locate the pump, please get in touch or contact the local authorities.
Let’s work together to hopefully recover this much-loved piece of our local heritage. 💧

🎉🎉Great news with the announcement of €500,000 in grant aid from the Town and Village funding scheme for refurbishment work at Doyles Garage.
This is a massive boost for the village, and we look forward to seeing work commence in the New Year.

Drumconrath GFC (Naomh Peadair Droim Conrach CLG) is a Junior Gaelic Football club hailing from Meath’s most northerly village of the same name. We were 1st formed in 1886 and for the most part have a continued history from then.
