TODAY'S EVENTS CANCELLED
It is with great disappointment that we have to announce that due to the decision by event management today's Lú Festival of Light, Drogheda events have been cancelled for Saturday 24th Oct. This unfortunately means that there will be no Cottage Market this evening.
This decision was not made lightly but was made with everyone's safety in mind.
A decision about remaining events will be made tomorrow.
We suggest that you check out the Festival page for more information.
We ask our traders to please check their emails.

We start trading tomorrow, Sat 24th but the Festival kicks off tonight at 6.15pm with the Spooks Parade 👻👻👻👻

So this happened. We went to check out the Dominican Church in preparation for our Pop Up Markets this weekend and discovered that the ghosts that have been popping up at other markets have found their way to Drogheda.
We feel your pain Skerries Mills Farmers Market, The Market Clonmellon, local market
We shooed them away but there was talk of visiting bright coloured animals. They may have said Purple Llama Market
