Who is excited for the Film Screening at Boyne Music Festival this summer? 🎬

We are delighted to present Leave Only Footprints, Director Philip DenvirDenvir’s award-winning documentary exploring Northern Ireland’s dereliction crisis through the world of urban exploration (urbex).

The film follows explorers documenting abandoned buildings and forgotten spaces, revealing a hidden landscape and raising questions about how we value and protect our built environment. The screening takes place in the atmospheric Townley Hall library and will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Frank O’Connor and Jude Sherry, founders of the Derelict Ireland campaign, whose work focuses on sustainability, systems design and the circular economy.

Across the weekend, visitors can also explore a striking exhibition of dereliction photography by Pete Irvine () capturing abandoned spaces across Ireland.
