New article on our website with link to the latest podcast interview in our PodTV series in collaboration with Louth County Council LAIT. Sarwar speaks to Declan Declan J Cassidy about his escape from Kurdistan when the authorities took exception to the outspoken views in his creative work.

Sarwar was living a successful life as a writer and artist in his native Kurdistan - until his work started criticising those in power. After a long and dangerous exodus from his homeland, Sarwar has found support among the arts community in Ireland. This is the second in a series of podcasts in collaboration with
Louth County Council LAIT where Declan J Cassidy chats with some of the newer members of the Irish social family.

In our Drogheda studio, to kick off our pilot PODTV series of chats, is Cllr Ejiro O Hare Stratton . The series is in collaboration with the Local Authority Integration Team (LAIT) at Louth County Council and the idea is a simple one. In a social media landscape of misinformation and AI produced fakes, we don’t talk about people, we speak with them. We chat with two other guests during the coming weeks in this pilot so don’t forget to follow. And if you like it, share it!
