Reading lovely tributes of Donal Lunny , reaffirms my own experience of Donal’s generosity of his music and himself as a human being. When I was organising a charity concert for Mothers of Ukraine Concert . I called on many artists to perform at the concert, never in my dreams did I think it would be a simple yes from the man who inspired me through my own music journey, Donal, along with his good friend & great musician Paddy Glackin, no fuss, just came and played to everyone’s delight without hesitation. 🌺
