Weaving Light Against Gender-Based Violence
Exhibition Dates: October 3rd - 4th and 6th - 9th inclusive Mayfair Library Kilkenny Parliament Street R95 N23R. ⭐️A wide selection of reflective artworks made with thousands of hand-woven stars from artists and star weavers across Ireland, to mark International Day of Non-Violence 2025. ⭐️
Each star is a visual petition against domestic, sexual and gender based violence, standing with survivors of gender-based violence and working towards a culture of safety and equality for women and girls. ⭐️
This exhibition conveys empowerment through creativity, reflecting the transformative power of creativity in healing and advocating for social change.
