Drimoleague Walkways Drimoleague Walkways St Finbarr’s Pilgrim Way, a 37km ancient pilgrim path to
St Finbarr’s hermitage at Gougane Barra, also starts here.

Drimoleague is where the the well-acclaimed Sheep’s Head Way converges with the six Drimoleague Heritage Walkways,
and then continues northwards to Kealkill. The Walkways were launched on 10th October 2008 by Mr Éamon O Cuív, Minister for Community,
Rural and Gaeltach Affairs and officially opened on 25th July 2009 by Mr Séan O'Driscoll
(Group Chief Executive Glen Dimplex.

Once again we would like to thank Margaret and John Collins, Kealkill, for their great hospitality yesterday afternoon.

Drimoleague walkers would like to extend a huge thank you to Margaret and all in Collins Bar in Kealkill for the fantastic reception and very generous hospitality shown to us walkers today.
We had a fabulous days walking, brilliant weather, great camaraderie which ended with a great few hours in Collins.

Good as new! After 16 years the timber cladding on the Manager’s Bridge needed renewal. Thanks to donors Sean and Rose O Driscoll and carpenters Ryan Slater and Herbie Parsons, the bridge is fully renewed and open for your enjoyment!
