Following the donation of a cheque for €2,626 to the Bundoran RNLI, the Killybegs Mariners Sea Angling Club made another donation of the same amount to their second chosen charity, the Solace Donegal Cancer Support Group. Pictured receiving the cheque from club Chairman John Cunningham and Treasurer Cormac Burke is Bridie Mullin of The Solace Group. The Killybegs Mariners SAC once again wish to thank all of the local companies as well as anglers from all over the country who donated or participated in the charity fund raising fishing competition.

Shauna Cooney is Treasurer and a Trustee of the St.John Bosco Centre, Donegal Town where her father Michael was a founding member 66 years ago (1959). She has been nominated in The BIG Christmas Giveback with a chance to win a share of €1500 in Town & City Gift Card. The St John Bosco Centre provides a range of services for the whole community, including boxing, bingo, pickleball, swimming lessons, squash, Bosco Productions and car boot sales.
