🎁 Donegal Toy Appeal 2025 – Be a Secret Santa! 🎁

This year marks the fourth year of the Donegal Toy Appeal in partnership with Lifestart Service CLG. Together, we’ve supported hundreds of children across County Donegal who are experiencing poverty, helping to make Christmas that bit brighter for families in need.

We’d love for you to join us again this year as one of our Secret Santas. Your generosity can help bring joy to children who might otherwise go without.

DONEGAL Christmas Toy Appeal is looking for volunteers to be matched as a Secret Santa with a local child this Christmas.

For the third year running, we are delighted to work with Lifestart Service CLG to match volunteer Secret Santa's with a local child in Donegal who is part of a family experiencing poverty this Christmas. The Secret Santa returns their gifts to our designated collection points across Donegal before the 30th of November.

The drop off points will be in:

- Donegal town

- Letterkenny

- Ballybofey

- Newtowncunningham

For consistency, we ask the total value of the gifts be valued between €50-€70. If you would like to donate more than this, you may become a Secret Santa for more than one child.

The gifts will be collected & distributed by our community partner Lifestart Services who work every year with hundreds of families in Donegal who are experiencing or at risk of poverty. Thank you very much for covering this Donegal Daily. Applications to become a Secret Santa are now closed. Our Secret Santa's will receive their matches early next week and the Christmas shopping can begin for the children on the list that Lifestart Service CLG have prepared.

The staff at Lifestart Service CLG are currently working to match our Secret Santas with a child in Donegal that has been identified through the support services they offer across the entire county. Every Secret Santa volunteer gets matched with a child, and is given annonomous details to help buy that childs Christmas gifts.
