Come along and support the National Services Day in Naas this Saturday, 5 September.

Come along and meet the people behind the uniforms as frontline, emergency and voluntary services come together for a great day of community engagement and family fun.

1.00pm – GRAND PARADE

The parade will travel along Naas Main Street, with emergency service and voluntary units taking part. Come along, show your support and give the crews a warm Naas welcome.

1.30pm – 5.00pm – INTERACTIVE VILLAGE

The event continues at Áras Chill Dara, where visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of:

An Garda Síochána
Naas Fire Service
National Ambulance Service
Civil Defence
Irish Coast Guard
Order of Malta
Community First Responders
And many other local emergency and voluntary services.

There will be emergency vehicles and equipment on display, live demonstrations, CPR, AED and choking demonstrations, activities for children and plenty of opportunities to speak with members of the services and find out more about the work they do in our community.

National Services Day also coincides with National Play Day, making this a great afternoon out for all the family.

Entry is FREE.

Whether you are bringing the family, interested in emergency services, considering volunteering, or simply want to show your support for the people who help keep our communities safe, come along and say hello.

We look forward to seeing you there.
