Over 4,200 Families have stayed in The Ronald McDonald House since November 2004. Families stay for many weeks and for some many months. The Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation for 20 families but more than that it offers families care, comfort and support at a time when their lives have been turned upside down by their child's illness. Your help and support makes it possible for us to provide this facility.

The countdown is ON! This weekend, some of Ireland’s most incredible cars will hit the road for Cannonball Ireland 2026, all in support of Ronald McDonald House Ireland🏠💜

And if you’re a car lover, trust us… you’re going to want to see this 👀

Hundreds of seriously cool cars, roaring engines, big crowds and plenty of Cannonball madness will be making their way across the country from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September.

A very exciting day is on the way... 👀

On 26 September, people across Ireland & The UK will come together for the very first McHappy Day 2026! 🎉

This is going to be a BIG day with even BIGGER heart 💜

On McHappy Day, €1 from most meals on the menu at McDonald’s restaurants will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Ireland🏠

That €1 will make a BIG difference, helping families stay together and close to their child while they receive treatment in hospital.

So come together, get involved and help make McHappy Day count 🥳

What a day! 🥹✨

Our Reunion Picnic is honestly one of the best days of the year 💜🩵💚🧡

This year, we brought together lots of our wonderful families at Lough Key Forest & Activity Park for a day of catching up, making memories and, of course, plenty of fun! 🌳☀️

There’s something so special about seeing families who once stayed with us come back, months or even years later, and hearing how they’re getting on. Familiar faces, new stories, lots of laughs and some very happy reunions 🥰

Thank you to every family who joined us and continues to be part of the Ronald McDonald House Ireland family. We absolutely love getting to see you all again!

Not only did the ServiceNow team make a very generous donation to support families staying with us, they also rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in with two full days of cooking and a whole mountain of Grab & Go Bags for families on the go! 👩‍🍳🥪🛍️
