Kilmurry Community Games

It has been abusy and successful year so far for Kilmurry Community Games.

Our U10, U14 and U16 Draughts teams all competed in the Connacht Finals held in Sligo on Saturday, 2nd May. Every team performed so well, with our U10 team achieving great success by bringing home Silver medals this year.

Congratulations to all who represented Kilmurry Draughts so well throughout the year. A big thank you to all our Coaches and Parents.

Congratulations to all our young people who took part in our Annual Kilmurry Community Sports Day on Monday, 4th May. As always, it was a great day filled with fun and enjoyment for everyone involved.

A sincere thank you to Lorraine Hughes for organising the event, to Brian Callaghan for serving as MC, and to all of our volunteers whose help made the day such a success.

We would also like to wish the very best of luck to everyone taking part in the County Finals on Sunday, 14th June 2026.

We are incredibly proud of our U10 All Ireland Draughts Champions 2025 who picked up an award tonight at the Connaught Telegraph Mayo Young Sport Star Awards. This is the first time a Draughts Team has been recognised at these awards. They have brought great pride to our community since their national success last year.
