🎉 THEY DID IT! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️

Dan and Jack have rolled into Sandymount, completing their Coast 2 Coast 4 CRITICAL challenge. Salthill to Sandymount, 243 km in a single day. What an effort. 👏

From the west coast to the east in one go, all to raise funds for CRITICAL and CRITICAL CFR Deansgrange. Every kilometre they rode helps put trained volunteer responders on the ground in those first vital minutes of an emergency.

We are so proud of these two. A massive well done to Dan and Jack. 💚

Last week we had a very productive training session where we had the following scenarios:

✅ Pit Crew CPR

✅ Bag Checks

✅ Paediatric Choking

✅ Scene Safety

✅ Chest Pain

At Critical CFR Blackwater we are Training and Upskilling on an ongoing basis to ensure we are prepared to assist our communities and National Ambulance Service (NAS) at all times 24/7!

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who are always there to answer the call to help those in our local communities!

CRITICAL CFR Blackwater is a volunteer community first response group that is notified automatically by the National Ambulance Service responding to 999/112 emergencies such as Cardiac/Respiratory arrest, chest pain, stroke, choking, collapse/fainting, seizures.

We respond to the areas of Millstreet, Cullen, Knocknagree, Kiskeam, Ballydesmond, Boherbue, Derrinagree, Dromagh, Rathcoole, Banteer, Lyre, Naad and everywhere in between.

We are actively recruiting throughout the year for new volunteers! If you want to help out in your local community and be there when it matters the most, feel free to get in touch !
