AIPF PREMIERSHIP | Heroes Cork PFC

Six points from six in Dublin today as Heroes picked up two wins in the AIPF Premiership.

We went behind early in our opening game against DCU Storm, but recovered well to turn the game around and come away with a 4–1 win.

We followed that up with a 3–0 win against M&F United to round off a strong day of league action.

Two good performances, six points on the board and plenty of positives to take as we continue to build into the new season.

✍️ INTERNATIONAL SIGNING | GREGG BAXTER #6

Heroes Cork PFC are delighted to welcome Gregg Baxter to the club for the 2026/27 season! ❤️🤍

Gregg joins Heroes with 18 years of Powerchair Football experience, having competed in the WFA National League since making his debut in 2012.

His career has brought success on both the domestic and international stage. Gregg was part of the England squad that won the EPFA Nations Cup in 2019, before adding the WFA Premiership title in 2025 and the WFA Cup in 2026 to an impressive list of honours. 🏆

Having spent years competing against some of the best players and teams in England, Gregg brings valuable experience and a winning pedigree to our squad as we prepare for the new AIPF Premiership season.

His arrival is an exciting addition for Heroes as we look to build on last season’s success. For Gregg, it marks a new chapter in Ireland and an opportunity to compete for more silverware alongside his new teammates.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in Heroes colours, Gregg. Welcome to the club! ❤️🤍

AIPF Cup/Shield | Pre-Season Tournament ❤️🤍

Heroes Cork PFC kicked off the 2026/27 season at the AIPF Cup & Shield.

We opened the tournament against Midlands United, with a close game eventually decided by a penalty shootout. Midlands came out on top to progress to the Cup quarter-final, while we moved into the Shield competition.

It was a day of mixed performances, but we finished the tournament as AIPF Shield winners. 🏆

The day provided plenty of valuable game time ahead of the new league season, with positives to take but also plenty to work on. We’ll take those lessons back into training as preparations continue for the season ahead.

Thanks to the AIPF and everyone involved in organising the tournament.
