This year's Community Carol Service will take place this Friday, December 19th in St. Peter's Church, Bandon at 8.00pm
A lovely tradition of coming together to sing, rejoice and connect.

Calling all elves..... colouring competition entries will be collected tomorrow or you can drop to Bandon Library. These will be on display in Riverview Shopping Centre. Meeting for the Elf Parade is at 2pm on Saturday 6th December. Lots of Prizes to be won and sweets to be enjoyed! Santa will lead the parade through our beautiful town.

This Thursday I will be hosting a public meeting in Bandon to discuss the need for public swimming facilities in the town.
Purpose of the meeting:
• Explore viable options – including temporary/pop-up and permanent facilities
• Identify potential venue/site options in and around Bandon
• Discuss a lead organisation/steering group to progress the project
• Review funding pathways and next steps

For some time I have been calling for renewed momentum to secure swimming facilities for Bandon, recognising the town’s longstanding disadvantage in this area.
Bandon has no municipal pool and local families regularly travel to Dunmanway, Macroom and Bishopstown for lessons.

As the largest town in West Cork it should have public swimming facilities.

All are welcome to the Munster Arms Hotel, next Thursday December 4th at 7.30pm. Please share and spread the word.
