Today our team took our electric bikes out for a day to provide pre hospital cover for the Rainbow Picnic in Bishop Lucy Park in Cork. The bikes allow us fast access in spaces where ambulances cannot go so we can provide optimal care in less accessible spaces. Today sees the end of a very busy week for our divisions. 16 ambulance duties since Wednesday with volunteers covering events from Ballindenisk horse events, to Pairc Ui Chaoimh. We were delighted to work alongside our friends from Cork City Civil Defence today on a very busy day in Pairc Ui Chaoimh with our foot patrols and cycle responders dealing with multiple incidents onsite and in the surrounding park. Every volunteer giving their time freely to support our own communities.
