We are really excited to announce the lineup of events for this week.

Starting with an event by Hook D**e & Doll Pop-Up Socials:
This is organised by Hook in support of Trans+ Pride Cork and we are grateful to them for organising:
* gender affirming clothes swap
* trans+ pride market
* tarot reader
Free entry and no-purchase necessary. You can BYO zero-alcohol drinks and snacks.

Accessibility note: over 16’s only, one flight of stairs to access event space (no lift), extra flight of stairs to access bathrooms, music volume will be moderate, no overhead lighting, quieter area available near the clothes swap changing room.

This will be followed on Saturday by the main event: our annual Trans+ Pride Cork march and rally.
Gathering at 2.30pm after the Cork Palestine Solidarity Campaign march (please feel free to support that at 1pm too). We will march down Grand Parade > Patrick Street > Winthrop St > Oliver Plunkett St > and back to Grand Parade for some speeches.

Accessibility note: this route is mostly flat but please be aware of curbs. If you do not wish to march, or are unable to, you are welcome to wait at start point for the speeches after the march returns. March will take approx. 40 mins. No motorised vehicles such as cars allowed, but accessibility aids such as motorised wheelchairs are welcome.

There is a wheelchair accessible toilet to the right hand side of the Library. Ring the buzzer to be let in. The toilet has a small charge payable via contactless when inside.

Social:
After the rally returns and speeches have concluded, we will head to The Park Bar on South Main Street for our after-event social from 4-6pm.

Accessibility note: The Park has indoor and outdoor seating. The entrance has a small step up.

Transpirations:
A showcase to give you the opportunity to shine a spotlight on a trans person contemporary or historical who inspires you. Come along to LINQ Ireland on White Street after our social from 6-8pm.

Accessibility note: the main event space is fully accessible but there are steps to access the toilets and kitchen.

We are delighted to announce that Trans+ Pride Cork will return for 2026 and will take place on 4th July! We’ll be sharing more details on times, route, theme, etc over the coming weeks but for now - save the date!

The past year has seen further declines in the quality of trans healthcare in Ireland, including the estimated waiting list for access to HRT almost doubling to 18 years.

Additionally, approaching 11 years on from the Gender Recognition Act, non-binary people are still unable to access legal gender recognition.

Please come and join us as we protest for improved healthcare, expanded legal rights, and a better, more inclusive Ireland for all! ✊🏳️‍⚧️ 🩵🩷
