Broderick’s chemist has been looking after the people of The Lough and further afield areas for many years. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Barry all the very best and hope to see him back behind the counter when he is ready.

To all my wonderful patients and customers,

I wanted to share a personal update with you. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with a serious illness and I will need hospital care for an extended time.

This has not been an easy message to write, as the pharmacy, barrack street and the relationships I have built with so many of you mean a great deal to me. I am incredibly grateful for your continued support, understanding, and kindness during this time.

Please be assured that the pharmacy remains in very capable hands, and the team will continue to look after you with the same care and professionalism you are used to.

I hope to be back with you when I am well enough. Until then, thank you again for your patience and support—it truly means more than I can say.

Warm regards,
Barry

Regarding our post about the person using our fire exit as a toilet he has now been identified to us.
For those who commented on the toilet it is just inside the door of the community centre. No one should have to clean up the mess that was left behind.
