Safety should never lead to homelessness.

A new report from Mercy Law Resource Centre highlights the strong link between domestic violence and family homelessness, finding that domestic violence was a factor in 16 of the 37 family cases reviewed. The report also raises concerns about barriers survivors face in accessing homelessness supports and safe accommodation.

At West Cork Beacon, we know that secure, safe accommodation is critical for survivors and their children. Housing is not just a practical issue. It's a safety issue.

We are very excited as the time draws near for our Brazilian Independence Party. It is happening this Saturday in the Bandon GAA Hall from 1-5pm
Everyone welcome to come and enjoy the delicious BarBQ the music the dancing the drumming and the Capoeria display.
There will be an Art station for the children
Face painting and stalls
We want to show our appreciation to the Brazilian community in Ireland for all the hard work they do in the local factories and beyond.
