He's back! ๐Ÿšฒ

Our intrepid adventure, Daragh Cronin is back in action today.
Setting off from where he left off in India to reach Mount Everest and be the first person to cycle from Blackrock to Basecamp.

Daragh set off from CUH in February of this year, making it as far as Mumbai, India by July. Unfortunately, he journey needed to be postponed as monsoon season meant roads were completely impassable. It was a tough decision for Daragh to come back to Ireland but the right one. Now, the weather has changed and our favourite mad lad has landed back in Mumbai to continue from where he left off.

Rennes is a twin-city to Cork since 1982, and will be the third stop long the way to Paris. We are thrilled to meet with the representatives of Rennes and carry the values of Cork with us.

We are so grateful for the support from the Cork City Council as we strive to raise as much funds as possible for CUH/CUMH. All funds raised from the cycle will support life-saving services for the people of Cork and beyond.

Garda Emmet Long is back! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿš”

Last year Emmet made headlines by running the Cork City Marathon in full uniform, raising funds for Paediatric Services at CUH. Now, he is back to take on the Lisbon Marathon supporting Children's Services.

He is joined this year by his best friend Paul Keating. Together the two run Garda Fitness Preparation. Being able to work, run, train and fundraise together the two are well up for the challenge of sunny Portugal in full uniform and escapee costume.

Join us this evening at 6:30 at Ballymaloe Grainstore, Shanagarry for the launch of "A Year of Happiness" by the amazing Andrea Jameson. ๐ŸŽจ

The exhibition is a thank you to all of the medical staff, hospital staff, family and friends who helped care for Andrea through her cancer journey. Inspired to draw the flowers that were brought to her in hospital, Andrea decided to dedicate a full exhibition to CUH & Bons.

All profits from the sales of the exhibition will go towards cancer services.
