We were haunted with the weather for our seed swap with today! A gorgeous morning of swapping, seed sowing and chats 🌞 keeping loads in circulation including oat milk cartons and toilet rolls to make seed trays 🌱

Digital Cleanup day is March 15, an international awareness day to remind us that our online data uses very real resources and the cloud is not a sustainable place to store infinite digital information.
Check out our blog post on the topic and please share, particularly within your organisation, workplace, university. This is a systematic issue and should not be up to individuals to fix alone though we all need to be aware of it.

In this election period we have some discussion points to bring to the candidates to make sure they are thinking about the right questions when it comes to reducing waste and going towards a Zero Waste world. There are a lot of misconceptions around waste and waste management and too often the blame is pushed on the individual instead of reducing the waste production.

A general election will take place on 29th November. The results will determine the next Irish government for up to the next five years. We’re asking you to vote for the climate.

Research and email the candidates and their parties in your constituency about climate action. Ask canvassers questions about their plans for climate action. Let them know climate action, whether it’s tackling emissions or reducing plastic packaging, is a priority for you.

Make sure you’re registered to vote and make a plan to get to your polling station.
It’s your vote but we’re asking you to vote for the climate 🗣️🌍💚

Zine making and plant swapping this afternoon! Great chats and crafting about all things zero waste 💚🌱

Join us in Test Site on Sunday 22nd September for some sustainable zine making!

We will have some ‘waste’ materials to make a zine on a sustainable theme of your choosing whether it’s reducing food waste or repairing clothes 🎨✏️

Or as it’s Irish Sustainable Development Goals Week pick one of the goals as a theme!

There will also be a plant swap so bring along up to 5 indoor or outdoor plants to swap (all plants left in the last half hour will be free to a good home) 💚🪴

In collaboration with in from 11am to 2pm on 22nd Sept. All welcome, looking forward to some great creativity and chats!
