Glanmire Area Community Association

Glanmire Area Community Association The Glanmire Area Community Association was founded in 1981 to promote better community facilities for all residents of the greater Glanmire area.

Facilities include Sports facilities and clubs, meeting rooms, seniors, groups, gardening, tidy towns and youth activities etc. The GACA has always been operated by volunteers who receive no payment for their work, and is now a non-profit company with a board of 11 members. We are based in the Old Riverstown School building at Riverstown Cross, which the association rescued from a derelict state in the early 1980’s.

Lots of tailbacks at SCHOOL TIMES in particular at the Riverstown cross area. Maybe those who can take a small detour to where they are going could do so at those times in particular ??? It would help to alleviate a small bit of congestion. These lights are a necessity and will be there UP TO XMAS so please rethink ur routes if you can .. it WILL BE WORTH IT !!!
