Student Committee - Graduate School, College of Medicine & Health We also provide representation to the Graduate School Committee, where matters of academic importance can be raised.

The Students' Committee of the Graduate Studies College of Medicine & Health, is committee of postgraduate students dedicate to help you make the best of your postgraduate experience and to provide any type of support needed as a research student in CoMH We aim to attend the Medicine&Health Postgraduate Students’ needs by organising activities that might support their academic development and also

their journey through UCC. Many Academic/educational sessions are developed however, another of the committee’s priorities is to promote a chance for the students to have some fun (a small break from the hard work is also needed!) and therefore, social gatherings are organised throughout the year. Our December party and our (already renowned) Summer Barbeque, are an example of some of the opportunities we provide for the Postgraduates to socialize and have fun with their colleagues. We are sure you have opinions on what would make your life as a graduate student more productive, less stressful, or just better. It is quite likely that you are not the only individual thinking the same way. In order for us to represent the main priorities of the students and work towards the improvement of the postgraduates’ situation in the School of Medicine and Health and UCC, it is crucial that we hear from you. Thus, we would like to invite you to stay in touch, share your points of views with us and let us know the types of challenges you are encountering. Last but not least, let us point out that we are always open to welcome new members in our group. Thus if you would like to actively contribute to the postgraduate student experience and take part in “The Student Committee for the Graduate School of Medicine&Health” contact us and we will be delighted to have you on board!
