Cork Community Art Link is a community arts organisation and registered charity in Cork, Ireland. We encourage meaningful collaborations between artists and people that result in the creation of great art bringing creativity to places where people live, work and play.

We work with people to create a sense of community identity and collective pride enabling people to learn more about themselves and the world around them while having fun.

Our work engages with people both as participants and spectators in public spaces developing new ways of connecting with the arts.

week seven of our volunteer workshops and the lighting of the Samhain fires are almost upon us. This final stretch is always frantic and everyone is making sure that we get the work done before the hearth is extinguished to mark the end of harvest and the start of winter. There's still time to help, so if you want to jump into the festivities our workshops are open on Wednesday and Friday from 2pm - 5pm, and Thursday from 2pm - 8pm.

we're looking for 20 people to learn how to conduct a collective musical improvisation on the streets of Cork during the Dragon of Shandon on Saturday 31 October. If you interested in learning a shared vocabulary of rhythmic gestures, percussive clapping techniques and simple cues and hand signals, to get the crowd making thunderous noise as the dragon enters the city then DM or email us at [email protected]

week six of our volunteer workshops and the finishing line is rushing towards us. So much work has been done in these workshops, so much joy has been shared, so much energy has warmed the Lido as we all come into cold winter months and the vanishing light. Time is no longer on our side and we're always looking for more help so, if you want to jump into the Samhain festivities our workshops are open on Wednesday and Friday from 2pm - 5pm, and Thursday from 2pm - 8pm.

We're hosting a Cork Zombie Walk in partnership with and on Saturday, 24 October as part of a fundraiser for the Dragon of Shandon. If you want to take an undead stroll around Cork City centre then buy yourself a ticket through Eventbrite @ zombiewalk.eventbrite.ie. It comes with a voucher for food and drink.
