We are incredibly grateful for your amazing support and for the beautiful handmade blankets and toys you have so generously created. Every stitch represents time, care and kindness, and these thoughtful gifts will bring great comfort to those who receive them.

It was lovely to welcome Mary O'Driscoll Murphy from Blankets of Hope West Cork to Iris House today.

Mary was the original founding member of Blankets of Hope West Cork and has been a fantastic supporter of the Blankets of Hope initiative over the years. During her visit, she presented our CEO, Linda Goggin-James, with one of her beautiful handmade blankets.

Linda and Mary go back to 2016, when Blankets of Hope was continuing to grow, and it was lovely to catch up and reflect on how far the project has come.

Thank you, Mary, for your continued support, generosity, and the time and care you put into every blanket you make. It was wonderful to see you today. đź’ś

✨The Blankets of Hope Cork made a delivery of blankets yesterday to Mairead Lyons (CUH, End of Life Care Co-Ordinator). Thank you to Mairead for accepting our delivery of blankets.
✨We are so happy to be able to provide some comfort to those who need it. We will continue to supply blankets to End of Life Care, as well as the oncology units around Cork.
✨A huge thank you to our volunteers who give their time and talent so freely without looking for any recognition.

This group meet up weekly in Casa T,s or Amars! We make blankets for people undergoing treatment for cancer and distribute through Blankets of Hope Cork!
You are welcome to join us Wednesdays 11:00 am to 13:00 pm!
