We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the wonderful Elmarie Mawe. 💔

Elmarie was a true champion of the Arts in Cork and someone who gave so generously of her time, kindness and support to the local arts community. She was a wonderful supporter of our musical society since the early days, always happy to give us a radio shout-out, help spread the word about our shows, and encourage and celebrate the work of others.

Her warmth and genuine love for the Arts touched so many people, and she will be greatly missed.

Sunday mornings on The Arts House will never be the same without Elmarie. She was a beautiful soul both on and off the radio.

Our heartfelt condolences to Conor and all of Elmarie's family.
