💚 Cuidiú Online Evening Breastfeeding Support Group – It’s National Breastfeeding Week and You’re Invited! 🤱🌙💬

Looking for a relaxed, supportive space to connect with other parents and get breastfeeding support?

Join us every 2nd Thursday evening on Zoom for a free, informal support group led by qualified volunteer Breastfeeding Counsellors.

Whether you’re facing challenges, have questions, or just want to share the journey with others who get it, you’re warmly welcome. Bring your baby, your cup of tea, and come as you are 💛

💚 Happy National Breastfeeding Week 2026! 💚

From everyone at Cuidiú Cork, we want to wish all breastfeeding parents and families a very happy National Breastfeeding Week! 🥰

Running from 1st-7th October, this year’s theme is “Every Step Forward: Strengthening Support for Babies and Families.” The week highlights just how important timely information, practical support and strong communities can be throughout a breastfeeding journey.

Every breastfeeding journey is different - whether it lasts for days, weeks, months or years; whether you exclusively breastfeed, express, combination feed, or are working towards your own feeding goals. Every step forward deserves support, encouragement and respect. 💕

In Ireland, breastfeeding rates continue to rise, with 65.8% of babies breastfed at birth in 2025, and more than half of babies breastfed at three months.

So this week, let's celebrate the parents feeding their babies, the people supporting them, and the communities helping to make breastfeeding feel welcomed and supported. 🌿

🍂 October is here, and we’ve got lots happening across Cuidiú Cork! 🍂

From coffee mornings and walks to parent & child groups, library meet-ups, breastfeeding support and antenatal classes, there are plenty of opportunities to get out, meet other parents and enjoy some time together. 💚

Whether you’re a familiar face or coming along for the first time, you’re very welcome! 🥰

🍼 It’s also National Breastfeeding Week, running from 1st-7th October! This year’s theme is “Every Step Forward: Strengthening Support for Babies and Families”, highlighting the importance of support for families on their feeding journeys. Wishing all the families feeding their babies in whatever way works for them a very happy National Breastfeeding Week! 💚
