This Week at Cuidiú Cork 💚

We're looking forward to another week of connection, support, and community across Cork.

This Tuesday, join us for breastfeeding support at Tory Top, our Bantry Playgroup, or settle in with fellow parents at Book Club.

On Wednesday, little ones can enjoy our Sleeping Bunnies Playgroup and the Blackpool Library Baby & Toddler Group, while parents can take some time to unwind at Relax, Stretch, Breathe.

Thursday brings our Nationwide Breastfeeding Support Zoom, offering support from the comfort of home, as well as our Ballinlough Walk for fresh air and friendly chats.

We'll finish the week outdoors on Saturday at our Glen River Outdoor Playgroup, where families can connect through nature and play.

✨ A quick update for expectant parents: our June Antenatal Classes are now fully booked. Thank you for the amazing interest! The next course will take place in August, so keep an eye on our page for booking information.

Today is International Day of Play - June 11th 2026. Please see attached a tip sheet with 31 non-screen play ideas.

This year’s theme, “Protect Play, Protect Childhood,” highlights the importance of ensuring all children have opportunities to play, explore, imagine and connect with others.

Play supports children’s learning, wellbeing, creativity, communication and sense of belonging, while also helping to build important social and emotional skills.

International Day of Play is a reminder that play is not just fun - it is a fundamental part of childhood and every child’s development.

Today our lovely committee member Anita represented Cuidiú at the Baby Market in Cork City. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, ask questions and learn more about the supports we provide for parents and families 💚

A special thank you to Laura from the Baby Market for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event. We were delighted to attend and connect with so many local parents.

At Cuidiú, we provide antenatal education, breastfeeding support and parent support throughout Cork City and County. We also run a variety of events and meet-ups to help parents connect and support one another.

On our website you’ll find details for our breastfeeding counsellors, antenatal educators and parent supporters, along with links to our Facebook group, WhatsApp groups and Freecycle community.
