👋 We’d like to welcome our new Senior Administrator, David Scannell, to Deaf Enterprises.

🏡 David grew up just 100 metres from Deaf Enterprises, making his new role something of a homecoming. He spent over 20 years working in IT 💻 and qualified as a furniture maker in 2017. 🪚🪵

🛠️ He has also served on the board of directors at Benchspace Cork and currently teaches furniture making, enjoying the opportunity to help people learn new skills and bring their ideas to life.

Outside of work, David enjoys woodwork 🪵, running 🏃‍♂️, music 🎶 and 3D printing. He also spends plenty of time with his one-year-old son 👶, and is always looking for an excuse to make, fix or experiment with something new. 🔧✨
