Let’s Grow Together! Infant & Childhood Partnerships CLG invites practitioners to express their interest in our upcoming Newborn Behavioural Observations (NBO) System Training, taking place online in November 2026.

📚 What is the NBO and what will I learn?
The Newborn Behavioural Observations (NBO) system is a relationship-based tool used internationally for over 30 years. It helps parents recognise and respond to their baby’s behaviours, cues, and strengths in the early months of life. We will explore 18 unique skills and capacities by the practitioner with the baby in the presence of the parent.

The training includes:
✔️ 3-day online training
✔️ Official NBO toolkit
✔️ Additional Mentoring

🗓️ Training Dates (Online via Zoom)
· Tuesday, 3rd November 2026 | 12:30 – 5:30 PM
· Wednesday, 4th November 2026 | 12:30 – 5:30 PM
· Tuesday, 10th November 2026 | 12:30 – 5:30 PM

Cost: €175 for practitioners within our catchment area
€350 for practitioners outside our catchment area

📍Location: Glen Resource Centre, Cork

This training is designed for professionals working with children, parents, or caregivers, such as:

➡️Social workers and social care workers
➡️Educators and school staff
➡️Early childhood practitioners

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting programme that provides free books to children from birth until they begin school in participating areas, in conjunction with local child development agencies.

Join us in Gerry O'Sullivan Park, Churchfield on Thursdays from 10am–11am on July 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd for fun, connection and outdoor play.
