SHEP Erasmus Plus – Adult Learning Exchange (to Huesca, Spain)
The Erasmus Plus Programme has provided many opportunities to SHEP staff and participants to deepen their learning in the context of European Cooperation. SHEP’s particular goals for our Erasmus Programme include the promotion of: inclusion and diversity; digital transformation; environment and the fight against climate change; and participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement.
As part of our Erasmus Plus Programme, SHEP completed a second Adult Learner Exchange Programme in April. The visit was organised as part of our continuing partnership with CPEPA Miguel Hernandez, which is a government-run Adult Education Centre in Huesca, in the Aragon Region of Northern Spain.
The exchange focused on the themes of inter-cultural learning, environmental awareness and political education. A group of 11 Adult Learners, from various learning programmes in SHEP, participated in what was a very memorable and impactful week. In June, we will host a group of ten Adult Learners from Huesca for a week, along with a group of 10 adult learners from our partner in Hungary.
