Jazzy is a gorgeous 11-week-old lurcher girl with a big personality packed into a tiny body — confident, affectionate, playful, independent, and just a little bit of a drama queen.
She’s incredibly well socialised and loves everyone she meets. She’s fantastic with dogs of all shapes and sizes and absolutely loves having canine friends to play with. She’s equally happy doing her own thing, though, and will often disappear to find a quiet corner for a nap when things get a bit too busy.
Jazzy is a clever little girl and very food-motivated, so training is something she really enjoys. She already knows sit and stay, and her recall is excellent for her age, having been carefully proofed on a long line. She’s naturally inclined to stick with you on walks and loves learning new things — particularly if there’s a tasty reward involved!
She’s almost fully toilet trained and has been crate trained. She may take a minute to settle herself, but once she’s comfortable, she’s very happy to snooze away. In fact, sleeping is one of Jazzy’s hidden talents. She can be right in the middle of playing, exploring or generally “helping” with something and suddenly decide that a nap is much more important.
And Jazzy absolutely loves to help. Gardening? She’s there. Cleaning? She’s there. Tidying? Definitely there. Anything happening down at floor level is apparently her business — although her idea of helping usually involves stealing something, investigating it thoroughly, and possibly giving it a chew.
She’s a proper little character and has a wonderful off-switch for a puppy. She enjoys bursts of zoomies, exploring and playing, but she’s equally happy stretching out on the couch or curling up for a nap.
Jazzy would love a home where she can be part of the action, with plenty of companionship, exercise, enrichment and opportunities to learn. Another dog would be lovely as she adores canine company, but she is independent enough to be the only dog provided she has plenty of interaction and company from her people. Someone who is around for much of the day would suit her well.
She’s friendly, affectionate and loves being handled, and she’s already showing all the ingredients of becoming a fantastic little companion.
If you’re looking for a clever, cuddly, playful puppy with plenty of sass and a very important need to supervise all household activities, Jazzy might just be your girl.
