Benjy is a handsome 4 year old collie. Great with children and has had no problems with other dogs he has met. He is excellent on his walks and in the car. Benjy has been an outdoor dog but we will be homing him of course as an indoor dog. That means he will need a little work on housetraining but he is clever and will learn quickly. He is a great walking companion and loyal pet.

Sparky was surrendered to us as his owner is very ill. We hope the family are relieved to hear that he found his perfect match with David. From their very first meeting David knew Sparky was the dog for him. We wish them plenty of happy adventures together - Sparky has settled very well in his home with me. He enjoys checking out the garden keeping a sharp lookout for birds and cats. He is really enjoying his walks and has been very good with any dogs we have met in our travels. He really loves scratching in the leaves when we are in the parks. I am kept busy throwing his ball for him all through the day until he decides to have a rest in the evening.

Tilly is a gorgeous 4-month-old Collie pup with a big brain, a sweet nature and lots of love to give 🐾

She’s a very clever girl who already knows “sit” and sleeps all night in her crate like a dream! She gets along well with other dogs and loves nothing more than playing with her toys and running around the garden with her foster brother 🐶🎾

Like any young Collie, Tilly is an intelligent little girl who will thrive with a family willing to keep her mind busy and help her learn as she grows. She has so much potential and is going to make a wonderful companion.

Tilly isn’t 100% housetrained just yet, but she’s learning every day and making progress. She’ll need a home where someone is around during the day to help her continue with her housetraining and settle into her new routine 🏡

Tilly is looking for a home with another friendly dog to play with, learn from and keep her company🐾

Update on Rex the bulldog. Rex came into us with multiple issues that we are still working on. We cant thank Niamh enough for stepping in to foster him. He has put on weight and is being treated for arthritis. You will see from the video the swagger he has now on his walks. So at least his body isnt aching anymore. He had several fits in our care so we upped his epilepsy meds and he is doing very well again.
However, his eyes remain the issue. In one eye he has zero tear production and minimal in the other. The eyes had an e coli infection also and he was miserable. Thankfully this is almost clear. The vet has added to his eye drops and if there is no improvement in tear production surgery is the next step.
In the meantime, he adores Niamh and her crew, his coat is glowing and he has started to play.
If you would like to donate towards Rex's continued veterinary care we would very much appreciate it. He is one of many.

Jasper is ready to start looking again for his forever home. He has been with Joyce for assessment for the last few months. He has been excellent with her, her staff and the other dogs in boarding kennels. Jasper is a year and a half old and has a typical chihuahua personality. He can be insecure due to his moving around and really does bond with one person or a couple. He needs proper introductions when people visit. When he trusts he is fantastic and is affectionate and loving. He would adore a quiet, child free home with a person experienced with the breed who will give him the patience and space he needs to relax and settle. The recent DAWG Tea Party in Carrigtwohill was a huge success. Thank you so much Lisa, Matt, Mary, Conor and friends for organising, baking and being wonderful hosts again! Thanks to everyone who donated on the day including the fabulous raffle prizes. The €900 raised will help with our ever increasing veterinary bills.
