Autumn Creativity in Ms. O’Riordan’s Class!

A sincere thank you to our wonderful community for the kindness, generosity and encouragement shown to us during yesterday's picket.

We are incredibly grateful for the thoughtful offers of help, the generous donations of tea, coffee and cakes, and to everyone who took the time to stop by for a friendly chat or offer a few words of support. A special thank you also to all those who passed by and sounded their horns in solidarity – every beep brought a smile to our faces!

Every gesture, big or small, meant so much to us and was a wonderful reminder of the strength and spirit of our community. Your kindness, encouragement and support were truly appreciated. Thank you all!

Best of luck to our past pupils Amy & Lydia McDonagh, in the Senior A County Final next Sunday!

We are very proud to see them representing their club on such a big occasion. It is wonderful to see how far their journey has taken them — a very special moment for our school community.

Exciting times ahead at Carriganima National School!

The children are delighted with their new musical instruments and are really looking forward to beginning their musical journey! There has been great excitement as they get ready to learn new skills, explore music and, of course, make plenty of music together. We can’t wait to hear our school filled with music in the weeks ahead!

Pictured with the children is their teacher, Ms Flannery, whose passion and enthusiasm for music are sure to inspire our budding young musicians. We are very lucky to have her sharing her love of music with our pupils and inspiring the next generation of young musicians.

Welcome to Carriganima Community Playgroup page!
This page is where we will share upcoming dates, reminders and a little glimpse of what we get up to. Our next playgroup is Saturday, 26th September 2026 at Carriganima National School P12DW92.

Come along for a morning of play, fun and making new friends. It’s a lovely opportunity for little ones to play and explore, while parents can have a chat and get to know each other too.

A lovely day in the garden!
The children were so excited when Mr. Newman took them to the garden to pick some of the fresh produce. They had great fun exploring and carefully picking delicious raspberries, juicy blackberries, and onions.

It was wonderful to see their excitement as they discovered where our food comes from and enjoyed getting hands-on in the garden. A fun morning of learning, exploring, and enjoying nature!

Our new pupils are settling in very well here at Carriganima National School and are already enjoying becoming part of our wonderful school community. Pictured with their teacher, Ms. O’Riordan.
