Rotary Tree of Remembrance Remember your loved ones at Christmas with a ribbon on the Tree Whilst this is free, if you wish to make a donation we will be delighted.

The Rotary Clubs of Cork and Bishopstown jointly run the Remembrance Tree Opposite Brown Thomas on Patrick St every Christmas. Macroom E Enterprise Centre & Ballincollig Network Group and their Communities are supporting this project over Christmas.. People are invited to remember their loved ones in a simple yet poignant way in the midst of the Christmas rush by writing their message on yellow ri

bbons which are raised on the tree in colourful garlands. Funds raised will be shared with local and Rotary charities. The chosen charities this year are Marymount Hospice and St Vincent de Paul. We have raised over €210,000 for local charities over the past 9 years of the project. Prayers will be said for all those remembered on the tree on Saturday the 7th of January 2012 at 5.30pm in St Peters & Pauls Church.
