We were honoured to welcome Tina, Mark O’Connor’s wife, along with Marie from Cork Dragons to Cork ARC Cancer Support House recently as they presented a generous donation in Mark’s memory.

It was a meaningful visit filled with heartfelt conversations about Mark’s strength, positivity, empathy, and the lasting impact he had on so many people across the local community and far beyond. His legacy continues to inspire all who knew him, particularly within the Cork Dragons. of which he was a founding member.

Tina and Marie also spoke about their commitment to continuing Mark’s mission of raising awareness around male breast cancer, including their hope of creating a pink ribbon touched with blue - a symbol they aspire to see recognised globally.

We are all set to welcome another new group to Cork ARC today for our latest 'Look Good Feel Better' workshop, and give a huge thanks to Dee and Claire for facilitating this.

Designed to help women who are currently having, or have had treatment for cancer regain their confidence in how they look and feel. These workshops give information and techniques on managing skin care, plus make up application on the day, while also connecting with others..
