The weekend culminated on Sunday night where Scouting in Cork was recognised for its contribution to the youth of the City. Pride of Cork recognises Charities and voluntary work all over the City and to be honest when I was listening to the many citations over the night and the phenomenal work that was being done by so many people, I was really honoured to be able to accept the award on behalf of Scouting Ireland along with one of our Board members, Lucy Kay. It goes without saying - Keep up the good work in Cork. Chief.

It's finally here: the Chief Scout's Challenge, EPIC, is now live and ready for your sections to take part.

The EPIC Challenge is a year-long initiative encouraging Sections' active participation in four key pillars of Scouting:

Programme – Deliver a vibrant, varied programme tailored to your age section.
Investiture – Celebrate Scouting identity and tradition.
Camping – Camp together and grow through outdoor adventure.

Neven Maguire - Ticket Sales

We are delighted to announce that tickets for celebrity chef Neven Maguire will go on Public sale this Sunday 7th September in Ballinora Scout Den 7pm - 830pm (or earlier if event sells out).

Tickets are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Tickets €25 each. Cash or card accepted (please note card transactions will be subject to 1.69% processing fee). Unsold tickets will then be available to purchase from Catherine or Gillian following this sale.
