Lee Valley Scout County host JOTA-JOTI in Kilcully Scout Campsite again this year with support from the Amateur Radio community and Radio Scouting Ireland. As troops register for the event, one of our leaders who is on the organising team spoke live on RTE Radio 1 yesterday on the Oliver Callan program.

Oliver speaks to Conor O'Neill, Liaison Officer for region South with the 'Amateur Radio Emergency Network' (AREN), about preparing to keep the country connected in the event of a major emergency!

Cubs were delighted to return to our Tuesday meetings tonight! We had great fun getting to know our new Cubs and doing team challenges in our new Sixes.

Just look at this impressive paper chain running almost the full length of our hall - made from just one sheet of paper per Six! Excellent team effort from everyone 👏

Our Venture Scouts are still buzzing from an adventure and fun packed weekend at Ventact South. Hundreds of Venture Scouts from around the country enjoyed the fantastic outdoor activities that the Joint Committee for Scouts & Guides in Cork laid on. The evenings were filled with games, song, dance, chat and laughter. Well done to all involved in organising and running the event👏
