Do you remember gathering around the radio for the news…
Watching your first TV programme…
Or the shows, voices and moments that everyone in Ireland was talking about?
As part of celebrations marking RTÉ turning 100, a film crew will be in Cootehill TOMORROW Tuesday (28th April, approx. 3–5pm) to capture local voices and memories.
They’re looking to chat with people of all ages about:
📻 Radio memories
📺 Favourite TV shows & presenters
🎶 Theme tunes you still remember
🇮🇪 Big national moments (the good, the bad & everything in between)
👉 It’s informal, takes about 10 minutes, and should be a bit of craic!
📍 Location: Outside All Saints Church of Ireland / former AIB building (Main Street)
We already have a great group lined up, but there’s room for a few more voices—so if you’ve a story to tell, don’t miss this chance to be part of it.
Let’s make sure Cootehill and Cavan are well represented.
